I have been working with NVivo since 1999, and providing training and consultation with a variety of qualitative software packages since 2002. My personal research interests center on medicine and participant-generated visual illness narratives with a focus on audiovisual analysis, but I enjoy working with researchers on projects from different disciplines and methodologies. I have experience working with researchers at all levels, from students through executives in a range of specialities, and I enjoy learning from them as well as facilitating their use of software to manage and organize projects. My trainings focus on all stages of research, from planning and data collection through analysis, querying, and writing. A pet peeve of mine is when someone says that their project is too small to be “worth it” to use software: any study worth doing is worth doing well and using software like NVivo allows you to demonstrate the quality of your work. As such, I particularly love witnessing those “light bulb moments” when a client suddenly realizes the potential of a particular software feature to further their work.
I conduct group and individual trainings for beginners through advanced users, and provide project consultation as a single event and/or on an ongoing basis depending on client need. I also serve as an additional coder to increase reliability and can contribute to final presentations and results publications. I am happy to meet in-person (my preference), by phone, or via Skype (or other web- based meeting platform). After an initial meeting, I can provide continuing support via email in many cases. Education sector rates available.

About Jenine:
Dr Jenine Beekhuyzen OAM is a Thought Leader with passion for entrepreneurship, research, and diversity. She is unique in the way she turns research into practice, having created numerous successful startups solving important societal problems born out of her research. This is evidenced by the decade old Tech Girls Movement Foundation, a not for profit that is creating future STEM leaders, clocking up more than 100 000 hours of STEM entrepreneurship to date.
Her most recent research on the Digital Divide, and the role of mentoring and role modelling in STEM and in particular, in CALD communities, broadens the diversity conversation beyond gender. To lead meaningful organisational change in diversity, equity and inclusion she runs the annual STEMfest conference. She is largely motivated by the unconscious bias built into technologies that are increasingly part of our every day lives, most notably AI. Her research helps her to run programs to help corporate boards to diversify.
Dr Beekhuyzen has more than 20 years of experience working with NVivo and its predecessors, using it for her own doctorate, and training thousands of doctoral students and others to use it for systematic literature reviews and empirical data analysis. She helps to fast track research in a transparent, rigorous, and reliable way. She does this in part through her online community, Research Central.
She has honorary roles at the University of Queensland, the University of Technology Sydney, and Griffith University. She has more than 65 peer reviewed academic publications, and, among other accolades, an Order of
Australia Medal from Queen Elizabeth II for her contributions to information technology, and to women.

About Christina:
I have been a researcher and methods teacher since the late 1990s, when I began working with the CAQDAS Networking Project (CNP) (Sociology department, University of Surrey, UK). I now leads the CNP’s training and capacity-building activities, which includes raising awareness about digital tools for qualitative and mixed-methods analysis. I also co-direct the University of Surrey’s Day Courses in Social Research programme and co-founded Qualitative Data Analysis Services (QDAS), a consortium of researchers and methodologists providing customised training and consultancy services for researchers doing qualitative, quantitative and mixed-methods research.
My interests coalesce around the relationship between technology / methodology and the adoption of computer-assisted analysis. I have trained more than 12,000 students and researchers over the past 25 years, undertaken numerous research projects and provided consultancy for hundreds of individuals and teams in academic, government, voluntary and commercial contexts. I have also published widely in the field of qualitative analysis using digital tools, including my textbook on NVivo. The Five-Level QDA pedagogy which I co-developed ensures analytic strategies drive the use of software and underlies the way I discuss, teach and consult on NVivo.

About Clare:
Clare has been providing workshops, advice and support for qualitative researchers using NVivo for over 15 years. She specializes in designing training that meets the specific needs of the researcher, their research topic and methodology. Working with groups or individuals, she aims to help each researcher to get the most out of NVivo; sometimes this involves helping with data preparation, coding or analysis as well as training. Training on the use of NVivo is usually in the context of qualitative methodology; ongoing email support is always included.
Clare completed her PhD in 2001 on Software Development as a Human Activity. This was a qualitative longitudinal study of organisations building large software systems. In recognition of the multiple realities in software development, a constructivist-based research paradigm was adopted with data collected from conversations with stakeholders and document collection. A variety of software packages (including an early version of NVivo) were used to assist with data analysis and presentation.
Clare’s clients include academic institutions, charities, government bodies and research organisations, as well as individual students. Their studies have included everything from historical analysis to public sector evaluations and everything in between.

About Elif:
Elif Kus Saillard is a sociologist and methodologist who taught in several Universities and is the founder of the qualitative research center (NAM) in Turkey. In addition to her methodological work, one of her empirical interests is organizational culture and employee experience. Since 2013, she has been actively analyzing employee experience data.
Elif's Computer-Assisted Qualitative Data-Analysis Software (CAQDAS) journey started with her Ph.D. study (2001-2006). She studied CAQDAS as a subject in itself. The goal of her thesis was to discover the potential contributions of software to qualitative analysis. She tested how the software (NVivo2) works with different types of qualitative data (open-ended survey and unstructured text). Since the beginning of 2007, she has offered CAQDAS training and consultancy to social researchers from various fields. Over the years, she has
met with thousands of researchers in her training.
As a leading expert in this field in Turkey, she has several influential publications in Turkish, as well as international articles. Her full resume available upon request.

She is a sought-after methodologist, having taught courses and seminars in qualitative data analysis at more than 80 universities and research centres worldwide including universities in Iran, Qatar, and the United Nations. Since 2009, she has taught introductory and advanced qualitative data analysis courses at the ECPR Methods School in Europe, both of which have won the Cora Maas Award for best courses.
