She earned her Bachelor of Science and Master of Education degrees from Georgetown College and a Ph.D. in Education Sciences from the University of Kentucky. Before transitioning to higher education, Dr. Roney spent 14 years teaching in K-12 schools, where she gained extensive experience in classroom instruction and educational leadership. Her commitment to academic excellence and teacher preparation is reflected in her leadership, as she works to support future educators through high-quality programs and innovative teaching strategies.
