Accessibility statement for Experiential Learning Cloud

(version 1, May 2026)

Our commitment

Lumivero is committed to ensuring that all users, including those with disabilities, can equitably access and benefit from Experiential Learning Cloud. We believe accessibility is fundamental to delivering clarity, confidence, and better outcomes across complex systems—especially in experiential learning programs where students, faculty, site supervisors, and administrators interact daily.

What accessibility means in practice

Accessibility is about creating digital experiences that work for everyone. The Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) provide a widely recognized standard for achieving this. These guidelines focus on making content:

  • Perceivable – Information and UI components are presentable to users in ways they can perceive.
  • Operable – UI components and navigation are operable by all users.
  • Understandable – Information and operation of the UI is understandable.
  • Robust – Content can be reliably interpreted by a wide variety of assistive technologies.

In practice, this means designing systems that support users with a wide range of needs—including visual, auditory, motor, and cognitive. Common accessibility improvements include clear and consistent navigation structures, strong color contrast for readability, full keyboard accessibility, screen reader compatibility, and improved form usability and labeling.

While these updates are essential for compliance, they also create better experiences for all users—making systems easier to navigate, faster to use, and more intuitive overall.

Our approach to accessibility

Accessibility is not a one-time initiative—it is an ongoing investment. Experiential Learning Cloud is aligned with WCAG 2.2 Level AA standards, with continuous improvements built into how we design and evolve the platform.

Our approach reflects how institutions actually operate:

  • Designed for multiple user roles including administrators, site supervisors, authorized site representatives, and students
  • Built to support complex workflows across placements, assessments, and reporting
  • Continuously refined based on user feedback and evolving standards

Accessibility standards

Experiential Learning Cloud is developed to conform to the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2, Levels A and AA. These guidelines help ensure that our platform is perceivable, operable, understandable, and robust for all users.

Conformance status

Accessibility is a continuous priority at Lumivero. Experiential Learning Cloud undergoes regular review to assess conformance and identify areas for improvement.

  • Experiential Learning Cloud is designed to meet WCAG 2.2 Level A and AA standards.
  • A Voluntary Product Accessibility Template (VPAT) / Accessibility Conformance Report (ACR) is maintained for Experiential Learning Cloud and contains detailed conformance information.

How this supports our customers

Accessibility improvements aren't just technical—they directly impact how institutions operate and succeed. By aligning with WCAG 2.2 Level AA standards, Experiential Learning Cloud helps institutions:

  • Prepare for Title II ADA compliance requirements
  • Reduce compliance risk and audit complexity
  • Improve usability across diverse user populations
  • Support internal accessibility initiatives and reporting needs

Because experiential learning programs involve multiple stakeholders and complex processes, having an accessible, centralized system is critical. It ensures that everyone—from students tracking placements to administrators managing accreditation—can engage effectively with the platform.

Limitations and known issues

Despite our ongoing efforts, some accessibility limitations may exist. When known, these are documented in our VPAT/ACR along with remediation timelines.

If you encounter an accessibility issue, please contact our support team at [email protected].
