6. Where we store your personal information
Electronic versions of your personal information are stored on our servers in the UK, EU and US as defined in our sub-processors which have been appointed by us to assist in providing services to you.
We allocate a primary data centre when you start to use our services and ensure that location is not changed during your subscription to our services unless requested by you.
Our 3 default data centres for paid subscriptions are as follows:

You may ask us to change the default data centre to another one and we will use reasonable efforts to comply with your request.
Where we use third party service providers to assist us, your personal information may also be stored in accordance with their practices and procedures. We require third parties to respect your personal information and to treat it in accordance with the law. We will never sell your personal data to a third party.
7. Rights of access, correction, erasure and restriction

If you want to review, verify, correct or request erasure of your personal information, object to the processing of your personal information, or request that we transfer a copy of your personal information to another party, please send an email to [email protected]. We will do our utmost to respond to your request without delay or within 30 days maximum as stipulated by law. We will be obligated to confirm your identity before any Data Subject Access request is completed.

You will not have to pay a fee to access your personal information (or to exercise any of the other rights). However, we may charge a reasonable fee if your request for access is clearly unfounded or excessive. Alternatively, we may refuse to comply with the request in such circumstances.

We may need to request specific information from you to help us confirm your identity and ensure your right to access the information (or to exercise any of your other rights). This is a security measure to ensure that personal information is not disclosed to another person who has no right to receive it.

In the limited circumstances where you may have provided your consent to the collecting, processing and transfer of your personal information for a specific purpose, you have the right to withdraw your consent for that specific processing at any time. To withdraw your consent, please contact our Data Protection Officer in writing using the contact details set out at the beginning of this privacy policy.
Where we are providing you with marketing information, you can also change your marketing preferences by using the unsubscribe button at the bottom of our marketing e-mails to you.
Once we have received notification that you have withdrawn your consent, we will no longer process your personal information for the purpose or purposes you originally agreed to, unless we have another legitimate basis for doing so.
11. What happens if you fail to provide personal information?
If you fail to provide certain information when requested, we may not be able to perform the contract we have entered into with you (such as providing you with our products or services), we may not be able to employ you or we may be prevented from complying with our legal obligations (such as to ensure the health and safety of visitors to our offices).

Our website and services are not intended for children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe that we have inadvertently collected information from a child, please contact us immediately so that we can take appropriate steps to remove the information.

The SharpCloud software service (my.sharpcloud.com and its sub-domains) uses session cookies to authenticate each request you make to the web service. We also use cookies to manage our online payment service and our integrations such as Bing maps.
On our website (www.sharpcloud.com) we will request to obtain information about your general internet usage from tools we use (HubSpot, Hotjar and NextRoll) by using a cookie file which is stored on the hard drive of your computer. Cookies contain information that is transferred to your computer’s hard drive. They help us to improve our site and to deliver a better and more personalized service. These cookies may also be used for providing you information about our products and services.
You may refuse to accept cookies by activating the relevant settings on your browser which allows you to refuse cookies. However, if you select this setting, you may be unable to access certain parts of our site. Unless you have adjusted your browser setting so that it will refuse cookies, our system will issue cookies when you log on to our site

Our Data Processing Addendum also sets out the technical and organization measures we have taken to protect your personal data.

You may have a right to make a complaint in certain jurisdictions.
