Lumivero grants permission to use product names, screenshots, outputs (e.g., charts, models, visualizations), and analysis results in non-commercial academic and professional publications—provided the use complies with the guidelines below.

Please follow these standards to ensure proper attribution and trademark compliance across all Lumivero products:

1. Citing the product in text

Use this format when referencing a product in your text:

• Research was conducted using [Product Name] software (Lumivero, version X.X).
• Hyperlink “Lumivero” to the appropriate product page (e.g., https://lumivero.com/products/nvivo/)
• Use the correct spelling and capitalization (e.g., NVivo, not NVIVO or Nvivo)

2. Using graphics, screenshots, or output

When including visual content (such as screenshots, graphs, or interface images):

• Add a caption such as:

• Follow the same hyperlink, version, and naming guidance as above

3. Including the product in your references

Include a full citation in your bibliography according to your preferred style. Examples using NVivo:

These formats can be adapted for Citavi, XLSTAT, @RISK, or any other Lumivero product by replacing the product name and URL.

4. Use restrictions

We do not permit the use of our trademarks or products in any way that is:

• Obscene, pornographic, defamatory, or libelous
• Misleading or disparaging to Lumivero, its products, or services
• In violation of any applicable law or third-party rights
