Team Defence Information (TD-Info) is a collaborative association supporting government and defense organizations with the insight required to keep national defense strategy effective, efficient, and aligned. Operating in an environment defined by complex interdependencies, long-term programs, and evolving priorities, TD-Info plays a critical role in helping decision-makers understand how initiatives contribute to overarching defense objectives.

To support this mission, TD-Info needed a way to bring clarity to a highly complex portfolio landscape. The challenge 

TD-Info managed a broad and interconnected portfolio of initiatives across their 140 member companies—spanning regions, programs, and strategic priorities. Critical information was distributed across tools, teams, and spreadsheets, making it difficult to understand how individual initiatives related to one another or contributed to areas of focus set by senior military leadership.

This lack of visibility limited the organization’s ability to prioritize effectively and respond to change. Static reports and presentations could not reflect the dynamic nature of the portfolio or clearly communicate dependencies and trade-offs. As a result, leaders often lacked the shared context needed to align resources, evaluate impacts, and make timely decisions.

The solution

TD-Info adopted SharpCloud to pull critical information from 10,000 pages of project data spreadsheets across all member stakeholders into a single, interactive visualization environment for portfolio management and decision support.
